About me
As owner of one of the only woman-operated ski shops in America, Melissa Roberts is a mom-on-a mission to share her passion for nature and make the outdoors accessible for everyone. She regularly organizes educational workshops, classes, litter cleanups, meetups and fundraising events to support the growing outdoor community and raise awareness for local conservation organizations and NEPA nonprofits. In 2024, she founded Wild Wellness NEPA, a non-profit fund of the Luzerne Foundation that promotes the healing benefits of nature for all, regardless of age, income, or ability. Melissa is also the organizer of Wild Women NEPA Festival, an annual outdoor event dedicated to empowering, supporting and connecting women in our region.
